Ashlyn Webb is a multimedia journalist with a focus in investigative and political reporting. Webb is currently a senior journalism and international affairs major at the University of Georgia. 

During the fall 2019 semester, Webb is taking Grady Newsource capstone course, an on-air and digital publication by journalism students at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Aside from her studies, she reports for 13 WMAZ in Macon, Georgia, and Flagpole Magazine in Athens, Georgia. Previously, she has served in several different positions at The Red & Black student newspaper, WUOG 90.5 FM, and Another Angle. Webb has most notably interned with the FOX 5 Atlanta investigative team and collaborated with investigative reporter Randy Travis on a Peabody Award-winning investigation on law enforcement’s use of drug field tests. 
As for leadership roles, Webb serves as the UGA chapter president of Online News Association and Society of Professional Journalists, student coordinator of Investigative Reporters and Editors, student leader in the COX Institute’s Mobile News Lab. She previously served on the Peabody Student Honor Board.
